Shark Tails are a great entertaining chew for dogs and can keep them content for hours – please note yes they are “fishy”.
If your order is over 6kg, postage will be calculated AFTER the order has been placed and paid for, we will base it on the best price for your address and the volume / weight ordered. You will be sent an email and a PayPal request with the amount when we are in the office which is usually Tues – Thurs each week.
Our Shark Tails dog treats are a delicious, natural, and healthy snack for your pooch. Using only Australian shark tails, they do not contain any additives. They are rich in omega 3 and 6, which benefit your dog’s joints, skin, and coat.
These fish pet treats are an excellent chew for medium to large dogs and will keep them entertained for long periods of time. Being a chew, they also provide dental benefits and will keep their gums in top condition.
This is one of our longer lasting dog treats.
Our shark products are either 100% North Queensland Black Tip or Australian Gummy shark. These are both common sharks in Australia caught using sustainable practices with quota’s strictly managed by the Australian Fisheries. They are declared as least concern by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). They are very common in our Australian waters and not endangered. No threatened shark species are used in our products. Please also note that these fish are primarily caught for human consumption, often referred to as flake in fish and chip shops and we mainly use the non human consumption left overs which would otherwise be discarded. Nothing is wasted. We do not catch endangered sharks to use just their fins, tails or skin for dog products! We use the left overs of common sustainably fished Australian shark used for human consumption.
Also consider mixing this treat with other entertaining chews for your dog such as hocks and pizzle, which are also nutritious. These are all Australian and do not have that chemical smell that the imported ones get.
